What can you do to protect our kids from endless chain of germs and viruses they are exposed everyday . I am sharing some tips from my experience and trust me these tips definately works to build strong immune system in our kids .



1. Breastfeed your baby

 Breastfeeding vs. pumping: The pros and cons of each

Breastfeed your baby as long as u can i.e. for at least 2 to 3 years but not less than that. It will not only help in building Immunity but it is a gift of lifetime to your baby. Mothers can also shed those extra pounds while breast feeding, yeeeeyyyyy ๐Ÿ˜ƒ.

 2. Good night sleep 


A good sleep pattern is very much important for babies and toddlers as well, while sleeping body develope immunity system.


3. Add green veggies and fruits in diet

4. Dry fruits

Packed with essential nutrients dry fruits are must for kids . A handfull combination of 4 soaked almonds , 1 walnut ,4 cashews ,6 soaked raisins will work great for toddlers .


5. Tulsi Ras (Basil Juice ) 

Every mom ,either new one or a mom of teenage kid should make Tulsi Ras their best friend .kids are prone to common cold ,cough and seasonal flu in changing seasons .Tulsi Ras will protect them from these viruses.

You can make fresh Tulsi Ras by crushing 5 ,6  leaves with two spoon water sieve and mix with honey .

You can also buy Himalya tulsi ras , Patanjali tulsi ras or any other tulsi ras .

6. Cut out Refined flour from diet 

Avoid as much as you can .

7. Say No to packaged food


8. Use Multigrain flour more often while making chappatis .


9. Cut out Sugar 

         Use Jaggery or Gud instead ,specially in winters it will keep warm from inside . 


10. Refined Oil is a big NO

                   In place of Refined oil use Ghee ,Mustard oil ,Groundnut oil , coconut oil , Sesame oil etc.


11. Let them soak in Sunlight


12. Play Outside


Don't over expect mommies , Relax !!!  Remember , cold ,flu are just reaction of body to get rid of toxins . If your kid gets sick once in a seson change , it means body is fighting against germs . Its just life and very normal . It does"nt means that you didn't give him a healthy diet.
 So stay calm and enjoy motherhood ☺️
